Many a night I enjoyed John's music in Walnut Creek and elsewhere. John on the keyboards and a glass of wine in my hand made for a beautiful evening. You will be sorely missed! My condolences to the entire Seppala family

My most heartfelt sympathies to the entire Seppala family. I am so blessed to have had you all in my life. John was indeed the most loving, caring, loyal, honest person I have met and I am so grateful for all the years we spent together. His passion, his whimsy, his gentle nature will never be forgotten. I will miss his infectious laugh. Peace to you,

My deepest condolences to the Seppala family. John was a great man - moral, honest, ethical and most of all dedicated to his family and friends. His creativity was only matched by his incredible sense of humor. He is very very missed and remembered forever.

I met John at a party where I was playing. Our band let John & Steph and their band sit in. They blew us away! Not only were they playing fusion music, they were playing fusion music that they wrote. They were both teenagers at the time and they only got better!
John was always very kind to Virginia & me when we would go see him play. He was an awesome musician!
Our sympathy and condolences to his family.

In the seventh grade, John, Chris , Tom and I started our first real band. By the eighth grade we were playing our assemblies and dances. We even played the civic center in Walnut Cr. we were really good for our age, and I knew John was going to be a great keyboardist. What fun we had. We played Edgar winters Frankenstein at our first school assembly. I can still see the parents in the first row with hands over ears. We really rocked! I will miss you. My thoughts are with the entire family.

Thank you my friend. Though i only knew you for a couple of years of High school you did much to expand my Musical tastes. Whenever I listen to Return to Forever, Lenny White and Alphonse Mouzon I will remember you fondly.
